Southern Quad Biking Created by: Quadwebmaster

Sussex Air Ambulance

The Sussex Air Ambulance got a call on 24th August to attend an accident involving a 16 year old boy and a quad bike. The boy was riding in woods the other side of Horsham when he collided with a tree and as a result suffered life threatening injuries. Luckily the crew of the Sussex Air Ambulance were able to operate on the boy at the scene, and get him to a specialist unit in the quickest time possible. There surgeons operated on him which saved the boys life. After reading this, I realised that this could happen to anyone of us and one day we might require the services of the Air Ambulance. The Sussex Air Ambulance receives no funding from the government and relies entirely on public donations to keep it flying 365 days a year. Therefore, I will be raising money for this vital charity on this website and quad biking events across the whole county.
